Who we are
My name is Phil. Ever since I was a kid growing up in TX, I was a cook. Using Wood & Flame was my passion and I followed that passion as much as I could through college. I loved the comradery that comes with grilling and enjoing a cold one with some buddies after work EVEN if its past midnight! Tailgaiting with my Aggies in parking lots before a big game, building bonfires and trying new flavors on meat. Those tailgate nights introduced me to Muscle cars and I was hooked. In 2010 we took Chicago by storm with our Texas lean on things and we finally accomplished what we set out for. Our previous joint "Mall-BQ" had a strong following but the good Lord had other plans and transplanted us down to Florida. We've always loved cars at heart so our family met and thought, WHY NOT bring Car Culture & BBQ together & have a lot fun doing it?
Why "HELLKATS"?
Because we LOVE Hellcats and Kat runs the show. So here we are and we can't wait to share this dream with you!
